Apex
doubles up again
From
modest beginnings 12 years ago, Apex Pumps has expanded rapidly
and in 1996 relocated to a large modern unit in Staple Hill, Bristol-twice
the size of the previous premises. After just three years, the new
premises proved too confining for the swelling order books and Apex
has now doubled in size once again with the recent acquisition of
a further adjoining unit.
The
number of skilled staff continues to increase to meet rising customer
demands. For more than a decade, Apex have been satisfying the requirements
of a wide range of industries, from water treatment, agriculture
and irrigation to building services and chemical processing.
The
design and manufacture of a wide choice of centrifugal pumps for
industry is core to the Apex product range, which has now been extended
to include belt drive and inverter-controlled pumps for the building
services industry.
Innovative
design and unrivalled choice backed by rapid delivery have always
kept Apex one step ahead of competitors and this has led to a steadily
growing customer base.
Over
the years, Apex has developed active trading links with export customers
in three continents; in particular the far and middle east, where
British technology is highly rated.
Apex
is proud of its reputation for being internationally competitive,
with quality engineering and reliable service. This has been the
key to success in export markets and the foundation on which steady
year-on-year growth has been achieved.
Word of mouth recommendation rather than glossy advertising has
been the primary source of new business for Apex. The company now
supplies more than 500 organizations, many of whom have relied on
Apex products since the earliest days.
A
message from the Managing Director
Fifteen years in management positions with
one of Britain's leading engineering companies taught me that customers
would always value quality of product and reliability of service
ahead of price.
When
the company was first established, I was determined that Apex would
add technical innovation to these key factors, but without detriment
to competitive pricing. With so many companies buying Apex products
and coming back for more, I feel that our objectives are being realized.
I am proud of the past performance of Apex, and its dedicated team
of employees and I am well aware that we cannot afford to rest on
our laurels. I make this promise to our many customers:
ˇ§Apex
will maintain its position as one of Britain's most innovative and
competitive pump manufacturers, continuing to make the satisfaction
of its customers its top priority.ˇ¨
